Style Guide

APA Style Guide

Beginning in 2017, The Forum for Family and Consumer Issues (FFCI) adopted the APA Style Guide. Prepare the entire manuscript according to the most recent edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, currently the 6th Edition. The Purdue University Online Writing Lab also maintains information on the APA guidelines. All aspects of the manuscript, including text headings, citations, references, tables, figures, and appendixes should adhere to the APA style guide.

Articles published from journal inception through 2016 followed the Chicago Manual of Style. When viewing earlier articles be aware that these earlier articles follow a style guide no longer followed for publication in FFCI.
